Wedges? I am scared to look slutty?

I am 16 and bought a pair of wedges. They're about 3.5 inches high. They're cork on the heel and black on the straps. I want to wear them with shorts but I am afraid I'll look slutty? Will I? What could go with them in the summer? I don't pull off dresses well either....

Was my concern for my casual an overreaction?

We were making love (me on top and him on bottom and he was on his knees and towards the pillows at the top of the bed. There's this really great guy who is very caring and a total gentleman (he's genuinely like that). However, when I think about his personality, he's almost perfect, but... We have no intellectual connection and I've begun to think that he wants a quiet and simple girl who never expresses her opinion. Is this a normal feeding pattern for my newborn or is she not getting enough with each feeding?

she is 12 days old and I think she is having some nipple confusion because we had to supplement early, however she is back strictly on the breast and for the most part doing ok with feeding. I know it is normal for them to eat every hour however she eats more often. I feed her for an average duration of 20 minutes straight of her eating. It seems like she is getting plenty, my breasts drain fairly quickly and the flow is pretty fast. Before the nipple confusion she would eat and pass out. Now she eats and stays awake and is hungry about 20 to 30 minutes later. I feel like in one feeding she is not getting enough if she wants more that soon. I basically am feeding her every 30 minutes and she is staying awake. Every newborn I have encountered falls into a heavy sleep after a good feeding. Is this a normal pattern? Should I consider some alternatives like nipple Shields?

I have not been able to eat like I'm supposed to?

Alcohol poisoning? terrible stomach ache still?

HI! thursday night i went out to a bar and got my usual drink...sex on the beach, a double. i had all together 5 glasses...one of which i spilled about half way through so 4 and a half. my usually amount of this same drink when i go out ranges from 5 to 6 and of course i get drunk but am always okay and never vomit or anything. the first 2 drinks i had the male bar tender made and they tasted stronger then a double shot so i think he made them slightly stronger. well after the first one i was able to feel it....anyway to the point by my 5th glass i was so drunk i passed out at the bar and spilled the rest of it and was kicked out. i got home threw up twice and then fell asleep for about 4 hours. i woke up and had to sleep in my bathroom cause i kept throwing up..hardly anything though just yellowish stomach acid and in between throwing up i had the runs but each time hardly anything at all came out. i felt awful. by late morning (friday) i tried to drink water and eat bread and i could not it continued to come up almost immediately it was not until about 5 friday night that i was able to drink and keep some soup down. but my stomach hurt awful still....and it still hurt saturday but i made myself eat...well today is sunday and i thought that i was fine when i woke up i was hungry so i ate and now my stomach is in alot of pain again. i dont understand why. should i see a doctor or wait this out? any one who has experienced this or knows please help me. thank you

Can I take a small blunt knife on a flight to US?

This is not a knife really, the only thing that allows to call it that way is its look and shape. The blade is 3.5 inches long and is neither sharp nor meant to be sharp, i.e. you can't cut anything with it even if you try very hard. The tip of the knife is not sharp too but has a shape of sharp wedge. So yes, if you push really hard, I think it is possible to harm a person. Though I don't think it can penetrate anything harder than t-shirt. I'll be having a flight to the US and I want to take this thing with me. Will they allow me to take it into the plane? If no, how can I transport it: should I put it into the non-hand-luggage (sorry, don't know the term)? If yes, will they want to open the bag and verify the thing (in that case I'll put it closer to the top of the bag to make it more accessible).

Okay, so I'm on the birth control Ortha Evra, which is the patch. And I think I might be pregnant. I'm always hungry- even after I eat and I get stomach aches and feel kinda sick, but I never vomit. What is wrong with me?

I am 17 years old, exercise regularly, I would say I have a fairly healthy diet, I'm 5ft 3 and weigh about 115 pounds (8 stone something) ... Although I seem to be tired all the time and have no energy to do anything.. When I get up I have breakfast which is usually something like cereal.. But then like a hour later I can feel myself getting hungry again and like a little light headed and there has been a few times that I have left it a few more hours and fainted :/ I find myself constantly hungry and always wanting to snack on little things... Not like chocolates and cakes or whatever but can be things like fruit.. Just wondering if this is normal for my age or whatever or is there something I should be doing differently...? Thanks..

Do you support Mages or Templars? (Dragon Age 2)?

As previously stated, this is addressed to players of Dragon Age 2. (Spoiler Alerts Follow) Simply by playing through the first act, it doesn't take a genius to deduce that the templars and mages are tearing apart Kirkwall. Not all mages are evil true enough, but there are enough maleficar running about causing sufficient chaos to make people fear them for justifiable reasons. I have heard the "they only turn to blood magic in defense" argument, but certainly enough has been gathered from doing side quests that many of them truly are dangerous and power hungry; Tahrone desired to overthrow Kirkwall and destroy the templars, as did Grace who, even though some were gracious enough to spare her (including me), continued to desire the complete destruction of the Templars and the domination of Kirkwall by mages. It's sad that many of them truly are good people, but simply setting them free is highly impractical, and will likely result in another Tevinter Imperium; how many mages wil simply be satisfied with freedom forever? No mage will ever be free of temptation, no matter how hard they may resist it. The reason alone that not all mages are evil and power hungry is reason enough to classify Fenris as foolish in my opinion: judging an entire group based on the actions of some of them is not wise at all, no matter how difficult a past the judging person may have had. Similarly, not all templars are pure evil: even Bethany (if she is forced into the circle) admits that she respects the Templars and most of them are simply doing a job, and are actually polite. The worst one I've seen throughout the campaign is Ser Alrik: he was truly evil I'll admit since, if I'm correct, he made mages tranquil so he could rape them. However, even the prejudiced Ser Cullen changed his habits in the end (if you side with the Templars, he advocates sparing mages that have surrendered despite Meredith's objections), he also had enough courage to stand up to her in the end. Ser Thrask was also actually a very good person; he sympathizes with the mages' plight and he even has a daughter who is a mage; he also ends up leading a rebellion against Meredith and pays with his life and wanted to spare the renegade mages from Starkhaven. The reason alone that there are actually some good Templars in the world is, similarly with Fenris, enough to classify Anders as a fool. He truly believes freedom for mages is simple; he believes killing Templars is completely justifiable in every case, and even advocates it; there is no better example that the mages are no better than the Templars than Anders, he stooped to "their level" by blowing up a Chantry with innocent people inside; he is basically a Jihadist, no matter how good a person he may have been before the "Justice Incident". For the record, I sided with the mages in the end, mostly because the Circle was blameless in the destruction of the Chantry, and murdering them all wasn't something I felt comfortable with. Thusly, if my Warden/Hawke is ever elected as Supreme Ruler of Thedas (crosses fingers) this would be my plan. The Circle would become more of a school than a prison/home, educating mages in the beneficial application of their power as opposed to evil application. Once the mages have graduated, they may move back home, start a family, etc..., maybe even receive financial aid from the Chantry to start out. The Templars would enact some minor supervision, such as occasional inspections or curfew; as nice as it would be, absolute freedom is not practical and therefore middle ground must be found. The Tranquil idea would be completely thrown out; the mages will stay in the tower until they are truly prepared to complete their Harrowings; Tranquility is truly cruel. Feel free to leave your opinions/ideas, and I thank you if you took the time to read what was basically an essay :)

Why do I feel guilty when people talk about what I ate?

When ever people comment on what I ate I always feel self conscious and guilty. I feel like a shouldn't have eaten in the first place. For example, I live with my aunt and uncle and the other day my aunt made spaghetti at around noon because she was going to come home too late to make dinner. I had woken up at around 8 am, but I waited until 2 in the afternoon to eat even though I was really hungry. The reason I waited was because I didn't want to get food in front of my aunt and cousin, who were getting ready to leave anyway. When they left, I waited another 30 minutes to go to the kitchen. When I finally did get something to eat, I got 2 microwavable burritos and a small side of spaghetti. The whole time I was making my plate I was extremely quiet because I didn't want my other cousin (who was in the next room) to notice what I was putting on my plate. I know the food wasn't off limits or anything but I still acted like a was smuggling something illegal. I felt ashamed. After my aunt came home, my uncle and aunt were talking about who opened the burrito bag in the freezer. When I came up from the basement, my aunt asked if I had burritos for lunch, and I told her that I did (I didn't mention the spaghetti I had with it). But when I was walking to my room, I heard my cousin say that I also had spaghetti. This made me feel so guilty and I felt like I had been caught for committing a crime. I know it wasn't a big deal, but it was to me for some reason. And I couldn't stop thinking that they were all judging me and that they probably thought that I was being fat. And for the rest of the night, I was terrified that I was going to get hungry again and to this day I still feel extremely embarrassed and guilty for eating even though I only ate once that day. And even when my aunt makes our plates for us, I still feel guilty for eating food. Also, it's not like I'm the biggest person in my family. I am over weight, but my aunt, cousin and uncle are all much bigger than me. And please don't tell me that I need to stop eating so much because I already know that. I really just want to understand exactly why I feel so guilty when people either talk about or know how much I ate.

Leave it be. It IS likely the squirrel will be back, though. There IS something you can do, discourage the squirrel. You can TRY spreading plain ordinary dishwashing detergent on the tree limb leading to the nest that the squirrel will travel on. Anything greasy will work, like Crisco or lard. A friend of mine used vegetable oil and laundry soap to make a paste. The idea is to use something which will not hurt the tree but still will be something the squirrel will not likely walk through to get to the nest. Anything biodegradable would be good. The soap makes it taste bad. Ever seen a rat guard on the lines used to tie up a ship to a dock? Or the plastic collars used on dogs sometimes to keep them from chewing on an injury? You need something similar around the tree limb between the trunk and the nest. The collar needs to be about twice the height of the squirrel or it may be able to simply jump over. My neighbor did this on a tree in his yard with a nest. He got the collars on loan from a local vet, at no cost, provided he return them when no longer needed.

Severe cramping 10 days after unprotected sex. Am I pregnant?

Forget about yesterday and how you ate too much, don't punish yourself for yesterday. It will just do more harm. You need to be eating way more than that... Especially for all of the exercise you're doing. If you don't eat enough, your metabolism will slow down and that's even worse.

I am 15 years old and 4'10 and 90 pounds. I am almost done growing. I eat soooo much more than someone my weight should. I'm not getting enough calories. Should I force myself to try and eat more?

I'm a 5ft 3, 119 lbs and 16 years old girl. I started eating healthier and counted calories just out of curiousity. I found that on average, I get around 900-1000 calories per day but I heard I should be getting a minimum of 1200. I don't try to starve myself or anything, in fact I eat quite a lot (six times a day) but I eat healthy foods. I eat a lot of protein (mainly from eggs, protein shakes and beans), carbohydrates (whole grain bread, brown rice, whole grain cereal), low fat dairy products and a lot of fruits and vegetables-not all in one day of course. I do try and make it all balanced and eat when I'm hungry. Still though, I only manage to get 900 and feel full. Is it because I'm vegetarian? Should I make myself eat more or does it not matter if I feel full with only 900? Would I put on weight only by eating that many?

She has gained weight since her admission. She has had surgery before 13 years ago for a partial lobectomy. She thankfully has had no recurrences of her old cancers and no metastases thank God. I hope they can do something then she can forget about nodules and cancers altogether and concentrate on the depression lifting which is gradually happening since the admission to the psych unit.

I'm an active person. I got up early, had a cup of vanilla coffe with soy milk and stevia then rode my bike to Tai Chi class. After class I lifted weights for an hour and rode home. I have a 1987 Nissan pickup with a 2.4 liter z24i engine. I am putting on a new cylinder head because the old one was warped. Prior to dissasembly I marked the timing chain and the cam sprocket so that I could preserve my correct timing, and immobalized the chain by jamming a wooden wedge so that the chain was locked against the tensioners. ( I had hoped I was only going to be swapping out a head gasket) So the main crank and the timing chain have been immobile this whole time. Obviously the valve positioning has been altered since I have a new head. BUT it occurs to me that since the camshaft has a knockpin that fits into the only whole on the cam sprocket, will not the valvetrain return to it's original position once I align the marks I made on the cam sprocket and the timing chain? If so this would save me a LOT of labor since I would not need to remove the timing belt cover to re-establish the correct timing. Am I correct?

My Parakeets Laying eggs?

It didn't hurt my game at all and my situation is opposite. I used to have a set with regular flex shafts that came with a sand wedge that was regular flex. Am I losing weight because of this?

For the past two weeks, my meals have been very small. For breakfast, I'll have a bowl of special k strawberry cereal or rice krispies and v8. For lunch a food from morning star (I'm a vegetarian by the way) and it'd be very small and a glass of v8. For dinner, also another small food from morning star and a glass of v8 haha. I'd just eat 3 small meals a day without being hungry at all. Plus, i'd spend 2-4 hours swimming everyday. And I'd some times walk from the pool to my friend's house and his house which is about 1/4 of a mile away and we'd have to walk up a big hill to get there. Okay me and my sons father were together for 3.5 years, broke up in aug. when i cheated. we recenty ( last month ) got back together, months after our breakup I was seeing someone and got pregnant, so thats where things get tricky. However last month when we got back together we came clean about EVERYTHING from the beginning of our relationship to that point. It felt great I felt like I was on cloud 9 and even told him last week if he wanted to move back he could. Last night I saw an email msg to a mutual friend, turns out they dated and neither bothered to tell me about it ( which is heartbreaking because i told her repeatedly how I hope he finds someone to treat him good etc and the whole time she was with him and didnt tell me ) and everyday Im made to feel like **** that I am knocked up by someone else ( even though we were broken up for months ) and his family goes on that I am money hungry and thats why I am with him ( even though I make like 400+ more a month then he was when we got back tg ), only to find out when I confronted him about the emails, that his family and friends were all supportive of him being with her ! The one who has a daughter with his best friend, who was pregnant while they were together with someone else, living at her parents with no income what so ever! I feel completely broken and Im scared this will ruin what I have been fighting so hard to repair. Should we seek couples therapy? did you say his own father called him an a hole? that is just disgusting! this poor child. it sounds like he is a bit behind and is definitely having some behavioral issues. I would gently try to bring it up to the mother (or father if you don't have a choice) and voice your concerns. Don't scare them or anything, but tell them you are concerned about his language development and the fact that he does not play with toys, the tantrums, etc. Suggest that they run it by his pediatrician. I believe that he should know his numbers, letters, colors by now. At least some of them. Good luck!

Pet Rat Help? (Five weeks old)?

So I adopted a male pet rat from the local animal shelter yesterday. They had the rats separated by sex like usual and there were only two males. I got one and named it Oreo then I went back this morning and got the other and named it Snickers. They are in the Harts play city cage right now I know I need to get a bigger cage soon. I was looking for treats for them and I found yogurt bites. I read that they like yogurt but on the bag it says for rabbits and genie pigs, can they still eat it? Also they have a tunnel to sleep in and nesting fluff along with water and two small bowls of food. They also have wood chips that are unscented and all natural. I also got them a piece of wood that’s shaped like a wedge of cheese for them to chew on along with a small wood log for them to chew. They seem to be getting along fine. I noticed yesterday at the shelter Snickers was fine but on the way home he sneezed a few times and his poop is light brown and not black. Is he ok? Could it just be from being separated form his brother for a day? Any help would be greatly appreciated im worried about him. He doesn't have any discharge or anything and his eyes and skin are still clear. He also is still very active and lets me hold him just like the other. Should I be worried? Hey so I am 14, female, 5'5, and 94 lbs. I am recently recovering from anorexia. For about a month I ate 800 calories then for another month I ate 600 calories a day. I am now eating 2000 or more calories a day. I am exercising 5 days a week for 30 minutes. I am hungry all the time and haven't weighed myself in a week but I don't think I have gained weight. I look the same if not thinner. Did I speed up my metabolism? Also I haven't taken any laxatives but I have had diarrhea 2 this week. Yesterday I ate 3500 calories. But did number 2 like four times yesterday after I ate. My brother had a super fast metabolism before he went into highschool. Do I have that too?

Side mirror on ford Mustang?

My driver's side mirror (powered) on my 2000 Mustang vibrates when I drive. the housing of the mirror is fine it's not loose, it's the mirror itself. Does anyone know how to tighten the mirror inside the frame? Right know I have something wedge in there to keep it from vibrating when I drive. Also, sometimes wanting to snack is just thirstiness but you don't recognize it, so drink about 7 glasses of water a day and you might start to see a bit of a difference in your hunger, hope i could help.

The thing that stands out to me is that you may have insufficient protein in your diet (looks like you're vegetarian) which is essential for muscle growth. A reasonable guideline is to consume approx 1g of protein per pound of body weight per day = 96g per day in your case.Divide this up across your meals and eat approx every 3 hours. I see you have tofu,cheese & veggie meatballs but i don't know how much protein they provide.If you're not getting a min of approx 100g per day at your weight you need to bump that up. You can supplement with a couple of protein shakes per day (whey protein is best). I believe you can get Soy protein powders but whey would be best and you obv do dairy (with cheese & milk) so i'd go for that. Consume a protein shake str8 after your exercise - there's a 30 minute window when your muscles will suck up nutrients. Egg whites are good too if you do eggs and obviously lean meat and fish. You also need to be lifting weights to really grow muscle.

My Viza Viper gas scooter stops when riding! Help!?

I have a 33cc viza viper gas scooter. I recently got a new gas tank. The Company does not make them anymore so I had to get a different one and had to get my uncle who works at a repair shop to put a wedge or something since it didint fit. When I got the new tank on. It worked GREAT. They put a new racing sprocket in, tuned it up and sprayed something on the chain. I rode my scooter alot after the repair. I probably wasted like 10 miles on gas. Well anyway i started noticing the scooter jerking as if it where stopping, it would still accelerate but at certain times it would make those dying noises.Any scooter owners know when they are out a gas there scooter like jerks and starts slowly dying. well MY scooter started to go that. But its different because my tank was half full. Well it got worse later on, and from this day Every time I start It it dies in 15 seconds or less. I personally think its the fuel lines since they are alot longer and cant reach the carburator. But even if I press the little pump thingy I do it like 20 times so enough gas gets in but its not working I have herd people saying its a air leak but I dont think it is. sorry for the long story. My Conure refuses to eat! help!! :/?

Hello, my conure which is around 11 months old! i got him like a week ago from a previous owner .the problem is he is hungry and i can see him beg for food yet he refuses to eat everything!! i gave him pellets, mix seeds, sun flower seeds, veggies and fruits! he doesn't touch anything but he does force him self to eat some sunflower seeds!! but for a small portion! so he does not eat and he drinks a lot of water which i think its the reason behind little amounts of small droppings (little of separated feces, Lots of urine mixed with the urates)...i cant contact his previous owner so that i could ask him what his diet was!! ... so Please help!! what should i do!?

Does this sound like pregnancy symptoms? On February 9th,10th and 11th I had unprotected sex, though i was on the pill, at the time I was on antibiotics, penicillin and amoxicillin. He never ejaculated in me once. I took a qualitative blood test at planned parenthood a little over a month after that and it was negative, I also had a negative urine test that day as well. I should mention i have had a period every month but since I'm on the pill the periods are light so I don't know if i could be ppregnant. Lately I've been tired but i do work graveyard, I find myself wanting tto sleep all day. I've been nauseated, but not to the point where I vomit, the tips of my nipples have been hurting to the touch like if I graze them with my finger tip and push down slightly for 4 days and according to the pills i wont get a period for 12 more days,and I always feel hungry. I took a dollar store test today and it was negative, but this week I've had a feelingthat feels likea bbaby kicking. And I've been burping alot today. I don't have health insurance. A few weeks ago i thought i might be pregnant, Than instead of a period it came a day late and was just spotting. I had a blood test around 3 days after the spotting finished(My period was meant to come on the 11th June instead came 12th june-and was spotting (It only lasted 3 days and didn't fill a liner was only when i wiped and was pink instead of red. I also had no cramps at all and usually i'm in terrible pain with my period and it usually is extremely heavy and lasts 5 days) I also have blue veins everywhere on my breasts and sides. My breasts have been sore since before june 12th and i have been tired,more hungry,exhausted,basically every pregnancy symptom there is instead of vomiting i had nausea. I have still taken pregnancy tests and there all negative and i took a blood test like i said before and still negative. I don't think im pregnant but what else could this be i also have two lump like things in my stomach where its really hard and like a lump and there sore and i keep feeling like my stomachs stretching and my stomach is getting bigger and thats all. My next periods expected in 4 days. If it doesn't come than im going back to the doctors (my doctor already knows all these symptoms i just wanna see what anyone else thinks) Sorry its all so confusing. Why does my stomach still hurt?

HI! thursday night i went out to a bar and got my usual drink...sex on the beach, a double. i had all together 5 glasses...one of which i spilled about half way through so 4 and a half. my usually amount of this same drink when i go out ranges from 5 to 6 and of course i get drunk but am always okay and never vomit or anything. the first 2 drinks i had the male bar tender made and they tasted stronger then a double shot so i think he made them slightly stronger. well after the first one i was able to feel it....anyway to the point by my 5th glass i was so drunk i passed out at the bar and spilled the rest of it and was kicked out. i got home threw up twice and then fell asleep for about 4 hours. i woke up and had to sleep in my bathroom cause i kept throwing up..hardly anything though just yellowish stomach acid and in between throwing up i had the runs but each time hardly anything at all came out. i felt awful. by late morning (friday) i tried to drink water and eat bread and i could not it continued to come up almost immediately it was not until about 5 friday night that i was able to drink and keep some soup down. but my stomach hurt awful still....and it still hurt saturday but i made myself eat...well today is sunday and i thought that i was fine when i woke up i was hungry so i ate and now my stomach is in alot of pain again. i dont understand why. should i see a doctor or wait this out? any one who has experienced this or knows please help me. thank you

I have a coworker who's always crying poverty. Every day during lunch she sits there eyeing our meals while going on about how she can't afford anything for herself. Often she asks for bites of our meals, or if we can spare her a bit so she can get something from the machine. But this woman smokes a pack a day. That's around $10 a day down the drain. And her boyfriend smokes as well. So between the two of them they're wasting maybe around $150 a week. Am I Too Tall for Heels?
