Why does my cat fly around the house so much?

Ever since we went to wal-mart he started to fly around the house. He only flew around the house when he was hungry, but now he flies around all the time, even though I feed him everyday. I also found a burn mark on my sofa. He might be firing lasers!!!! Plz help me and Snorlax (the cat).
