Why does the wound on my knee keep seeping?

You have broken open a lot of cells in your knee that don't have the means to stop the liquid, the nutrients needed to heal it, from staying within that area. Until it scabs over it will continue to be a problem. Keeping it open and not bending your knee is going to help it scab over to cut down on the seeping.
