Is this outfit too dressy?

Im visiting my boyfriend in nyc tomorrow and im wearing a lavender tank tucked into a short taupe skirt with wedges, is it too dressy? he lives in tribeca and we're going to go to brunch and maybe to a museum. I figure tons of girls in nyc wear heels during the day? people (especially nyc people) help me out!
