Can i return shoes i bought to target without box, tags, but have recipt?

I bought wedges from target andd they were thrown around on clearence, so just tied together and the tag said the shoe size. i cut both the tie and tag off and wore them once. they killed my feet, and need to return them. i have my recipt, can i?
