There is a little cat in my house that i want to make my pet?

there is a little cat in my house that i think lost her mother or something,how can i give the feeling of safety and turn her fear of me into love 4 me?and it's hungry what should i give her of the regular stuff in my house i mean the things we eat and is suitable for her and not cat food.
