Family wedding disputes: tradition or what we want?

It's your wedding! Dont forget that, your family should understand. My husband and I got married in my home town bc its what I had wanted since I was a little girl, he did it for me, his family understood and before our honeymoon we went to his families house for awhile and did another little ceremony there for his side of the family who weren't able to make it up to my hometown. You shouldn't let your family pressure you into doing something you dont want, you want to be happy and remember your wedding for the happiness and for how you wanted it. Dont compromise your wants and your fiance's wants, your family should be understanding of that. Good luck!
